El Padre A Flamenco Ballet is a dramatic, live flamenco production from Ballet Flamenco La Rosa (BFLR), a Miami-based company renowned for blending pure flamenco with theatre and live music. Founded in 1985 by choreographer/dancer Ilisa Rosal, BFLR has earned recognition for its bold storytelling and powerful stage craft. El Padre, adapted from Strindberg’s The Father and directed by Ilisa Rosal, premiered in Miami between 2013 and 2015 at venues including the Koubek Center and the Miami-Dade County Auditorium.
