Elaiza is a Berlin-born musical project fronted by Ela Steinmetz, formed in 2013. Known for its distinctive Neo-Folklore sound—blending Eastern European folk influences with contemporary pop—the act gained international attention after representing Germany at Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen with the track Is It Right. The band originally included Yvonne Grünwald, with Laura Zimmermann joining in 2016. Since then, Elaiza has continued to release music and perform across Germany and Europe.
