Elizabeth Koch Tiscione is a renowned oboist and the principal oboe of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, a position she has held since fall 2007 with tenure granted in January 2009. A native of Hamburg, New York, she trained at the Interlochen Arts Academy and the Curtis Institute of Music, blending rigorous conservatory training with a vibrant performance career. In addition to her ASO responsibilities, she serves on the faculty of Kennesaw State University and maintains a private oboe studio in Atlanta, shaping the next generation of musicians through teaching and mentorship.
