Biography
Emojiland - The Musical is the brainchild of Keith Harrison Dworkin (book, music, lyrics) and Laura Schein (book, music, lyrics). The duo crafted a playful yet thought-provoking pop musical built around an ensemble of emojis who explore personal identity, connection, and change in a digital era. The show began as a New York Musical Festival (NYMF) project in 2018, evolved into an Off-Broadway production in 2020, and later featured a West End concert in 2022 at the Garrick Theatre. The 2024 season included a production at 3Below The Theaters in San Jose, expanding Emojiland’s footprint beyond New York and London. The work is noted for its modern humor, clever wordplay, and original songs that blend pop sensibilities with theatrical storytelling.
