End Of The Weak Anniversary (EOW) is more than a performer—it's a worldwide movement that reshaped how hip-hop showcases its skills. Founded in 2000 by Big Zoo, Vice Verses, and ProPayne, EOW began as NYC’s longest-running weekly hip-hop open mic and grew into a global network with 10+ chapters. The MC Challenge, a core element born from EOW, tests diverse rap disciplines and spawned a worldwide circuit with world finals hosted across multiple countries. EOW alumni and beneficiaries include influential artists like Immortal Technique, Homeboy Sandman, Scram Jones, Charles Hamilton, and Iron Solomon. While the flagship NYC weekly has moved venues over the years, the movement persists, expanding internationally well into 2025 and beyond.
