English National Ballet (ENB) is a premier London-based ballet company with a storied history and a dynamic mix of traditional repertory and contemporary works. From its origins in 1950 as Gala Performances of Ballet founded by Alicia Markova and Anton Dolin, through its name changes to Festival Ballet and London Festival Ballet, to its rebranding as English National Ballet in 1989, ENB has grown into a national treasure. Based at the Mulryan Centre for Dance in London, ENB regularly performs at the London Coliseum and tours across the UK with the English National Ballet Philharmonic providing live musical accompaniment.
