Ensemble Ari is a Bay Area–based chamber ensemble of Korean American musicians dedicated to bridging Korean history and culture with Western classical instruments. Since its founding in 2014 under the direction of composer and conductor Jean Ahn, the group has become known for contemporary works, world premieres, and commissions. The ensemble collaborates with living composers and organizations to present innovative programs that illuminate Korean heritage through a Western classical lens. As a trusted collaborator in the Bay Area arts scene, Ensemble Ari continues to bring thought-provoking music to audiences across Northern California.
