Ensemble Ari Tickets

Ensemble Ari is a Bay Area–based chamber ensemble of Korean American musicians dedicated to bridging Korean history and culture with Western classical instruments. Since its founding in 2014 under the direction of composer and conductor Jean Ahn, the group has become known for contemporary works, world premieres, and commissions. The ensemble collaborates with living composers and organizations to present innovative programs that illuminate Korean heritage through a Western classical lens. As a trusted collaborator in the Bay Area arts scene, Ensemble Ari continues to bring thought-provoking music to audiences across Northern California.

Led by director/composer Jean Ahn, Ensemble Ari features a growing roster of talented musicians, including Sharon Lee Kim, Jiwon Evelyn Kwark, Heeguen Song, Sarah Hong, Joowon Kang, and many other extraordinary artists. The ensemble’s mission is to create meaningful connections between Korean history and modern concert experiences, with performances that emphasize cultural dialogue, premiere works, and community engagement.

Upcoming tour dates for 2025 include the UC Berkeley Noon Concert on September 10 in Berkeley, CA, and an Orinda performance at BKUMC on September 20, 2025. These programs showcase contemporary repertoire, collaborations with living composers, and fresh takes on familiar chamber music settings. Ensemble Ari has hosted and participated in Intermusic SF grants and maintains an active presence in the Bay Area arts community with regular updates on social media.
