Erie Contemporary Ballet Tickets

Erie Contemporary Ballet (ECBT) brings a dynamic blend of classical and contemporary ballet to the Erie region. Founded on November 17, 2003 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, ECBT is guided by Founding Artistic Director Sarah Purvis. Committed to expanding the art form, ECBT has commissioned more than 50 ballets (38 originals) from 42 different choreographers, offering audiences both traditional storytelling and innovative modern works.

As a proud member of Regional Dance America Northeast since 2006, ECBT earned Honor Company status in 2012, underscoring its artistic excellence and community impact. The company engages local and regional dancers, collaborating with live music to create immersive experiences for every generation of ballet lovers in Erie and beyond.
