Escaped Alone is a collaborative performer project connected to the celebrated play by Caryl Churchill. The piece, originally premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London in January 2016 under the direction of James MacDonald, features four women in their 70s sharing tea and gossip in a garden, weaving in surreal apocalyptic monologues. Typical runtimes range from 50–60 minutes, with extended configurations totaling around 1 hour 40 minutes when paired as a double bill in certain productions (notably Manchester 2025).
