Meet Ethan Philbrick, a dynamic performer and scholar shaping contemporary performance across live events, discography, and curatorial projects. With a PhD in Performance Studies from New York University (2018) and a track record as a curator-in-residence at The Poetry Project, Philbrick blends scholarly insight with bold, experiential art. As a member of the DAYS collective (with Ned Riseley), his work spans recordings like the DAYS – EP (2021) and recent Bandcamp singles released in 2024: Do I and Dream I Tell You. In 2023, Fordham University Press published his book Group Works: Art, Politics, and Collective Ambivalence, further establishing his thoughtful approach to art and society.
