Ethno Colors Tickets

Ethno Colors is an Armenian ethnomusicology project dedicated to reviving and re-interpreting traditional repertoire from regions like Komitas, Hamshen, Sasun, Mush, Van, and Musaler. Formed in 2007 as Colors of Music and rebranded in 2021 to emphasize Armenian ethnomusicology, Ethno Colors brings ancient melodies to modern instrumentation. The group collaborates with institutions such as the ARAR Armenian Arts program and has staged notable performances across Armenia and the Armenian diaspora.

Led by a collective of seasoned musicians, Ethno Colors blends scholarly insight with contemporary arrangements, offering audiences an accessible entry point to Armenia’s rich musical traditions while keeping the sound fresh and relevant for today’s concert-goers. Their work extends beyond performance into education and cultural dialogue, aligning with projected milestones like the Alex Theatre 100th anniversary presentation in 2025–26.

Discography highlights: The 2022 album Qarpi Tserin marks a focused release on the Ethno Colors label, featuring a single-track exploration of traditional Armenian motifs rendered with modern instrumentation. Recent singles include Khorodig (2024), Elinar (2023), Ayl Acher (2023), Hanina (2022), and Vay Babo (2021).

Upcoming 2025 tour highlights: Look for Ethno Colors at Hard Rock Cafe Yerevan on March 6, 2025; Takri Restaurant & Music Hall on March 15, 2025; a charity show at Hard Rock Cafe Yerevan on July 21, 2025; a performance at Komitas House of Chamber Music on September 3, 2025; and Alex Theatre in Glendale on October 16, 2025. Each date is treated as a standalone event with its own venue and program.
