The Eugene Concert Choir began its life in 1974 as the Eugene Community Chorus and was renamed in 1981. Under the steady artistic direction of Diane Retallack since 1985, the ensemble has grown into a major cultural fixture in Eugene, Oregon. As a resident company of the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, ECC operates three ensembles: ECC (100 voices), Eugene Vocal Arts (36 voices), and the Eugene Concert Orchestra, delivering concerts that blend classical choral mastery with engaging programming.
