Head coach Zach Weinberg leads the Purple Aces in his first season (2025) with 11 returning players and 7 newcomers on the roster, setting the stage for an exciting year of MVC action and non-conference play.

Key 2025 milestones include a Purple & Orange scrimmage on Aug 22 at Meeks Family Fieldhouse, an exhibition on Aug 23 at Lindenwood, and a season-opening trip on Aug 29 in Indianapolis at the Butler Big Dawg Kickoff (vs Butler, with matches against Middle Tennessee State and Purdue Fort Wayne). Non-conference action features the GSU Invitational in Atlanta (Sept 4-5), a home tournament (Sept 12-13) with UAB, Western Illinois, and Morehead State, and a September 18 crosstown clash with USI, followed by a trip to USI on Sept 20.
