Everything Moves and Nothing Stays is a full-length contemporary ballet created by Unbound Ballet Project, a Charleston-based nonprofit company known for pushing ballet boundaries with site-inspired performances. This piece draws from Mary Oliver's poem The Journey, translating the poem’s meditative voyage into a visually lush and emotionally resonant dance experience. Since its inception, Unbound Ballet Project has staged acclaimed performances in Charleston, including Light Lines (2017) and Abyss (2018), and has continued to tour a compelling slate of works through 2025. The company is supported in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, underscoring its role in enriching Charleston’s cultural landscape.
