Exploring Sonic Frontiers: Two Generations of Chinese Women Composers Tickets

Exploring Sonic Frontiers brings together two generations of Chinese women composers for a cross-cultural contemporary classical program. Keyin Lou (b. 1994, Hangzhou) studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and earned a master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2018. Yuexiang Xu (b. 1977, Changsha) serves as professor and chair of Composition and Theory at SCNU’s School of Music, and her choral works, including Seeing off the Bride, are staples in China’s contemporary choral repertoire.
