Exploring The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records is a comprehensive archival project that chronicles a pivotal era in American music. Originating in Wisconsin as a chair company, Paramount rose to prominence as a major blues and jazz label before its decline in 1932. Led by talent scout Mayo Williams, Paramount captured a remarkable chapter of the 1910s–1930s music scene.
