The Fairbanks Rollergirls (FBXRG) are a prominent roller derby league based in Fairbanks, Alaska. Founded in 2008 by Michelle Maynor, known as Bad Lady, FBXRG has a storied history within the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). The league began as an apprentice member in 2010 and earned full WFTDA status in 2011. Over the years, FBXRG has evolved from a multi-team structure to a single travel team focused on bringing competitive bouts to Alaska and beyond. While their practice and bout schedule runs from late summer into spring, the team keeps the community engaged through ongoing social media updates and public scrimmages. The league has historically hosted events at venues including Lathrop High School and references to Carlson Center in media coverage.
