Family Plot - Film is a Vancouver, BC-based band known for their distinctive art-pop/funk-influenced sound, formed around a core of two bass players and vocalist Madeleine Morris. The group drew early attention with their connection to cinematic culture, notably echoing the mood of Alfred Hitchcock’s final feature film, Family Plot (1976), which featured a score by John Williams. Over a span of years in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the band released music that reflected their experimental edge and collaborative spirit.
