Farayi Malek is a versatile pianist and performer whose work bridges contemporary jazz with Americana and country textures. A graduate of the NE Conservatory (Bachelor, Contemporary Improvisation, 2017) and the Berklee Global Jazz Institute (Master, Contemporary Performance, 2018), Farayi has established herself as a thoughtful improviser and compelling live performer. Since 2018, she has been a member of Danilo Pérez’s Global Messengers, contributing to the 2022 Crisálida album on Mack Avenue, which earned a Grammy nomination.
