Father Tartuffe - An Indigenous Misadventure is the contemporary Indigenous take on a timeless classic. Written by Herbie Barnes and brought to life by a dedicated creative team, the world premiere occurred February 22–March 24, 2024, at Granville Island Stage in Vancouver, produced by Arts Club Theatre Company in collaboration with Touchstone Theatre. The revival updated Tartuffe’s story to a 1960s Indigenous Rez setting near Expo 67, offering a provocative lens on faith, community, and integrity.
