Femme Frontera Showcase Tickets

Femme Frontera is a Latine-led film organization founded in 2016 by six women and gender-expansive filmmakers from El Paso, Las Cruces, and Ciudad Juárez. Since its inception, the group has championed diverse voices in cinema and built a touring festival that centers international women and non-binary writers, directors, and artists. The Femme Frontera Filmmaker Showcase ( FF/FS ) has evolved into a widely respected touring festival that travels across communities to share bold, intimate, and socially resonant works.

The 2025 edition marks the 9th annual FFFS/Film Festival, taking place June 7–8, 2025 at the El Paso Mexican American Cultural Center. An additional FFFS screening is planned for the Plaza Classic Film Festival on July 26, 2025 at Philanthropy Theatre in El Paso. All programs emphasize accessibility, with accommodations such as ASL/SSL services available to attendees.

While the event primarily centers on film, Femme Frontera’s mission extends beyond screenings. The organization provides opportunities for emerging filmmakers through workshops, artist talks, and community screenings, reinforcing its commitment to mentorship, cross-border storytelling, and cultural exchange.
