Festival Mozaic brings a storied tradition of classical music to the Central Coast, rooted in the once-named San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival. Founded in 1971 by Clifton Swanson, Ronald Ratcliffe, and John Russell, the organization now operates as Festival Mozaic under The San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival Association. Based in San Luis Obispo County, the festival showcases orchestral, chamber, early, and crossover music at a range of venues across the region, including Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, Harold J. Miossi Concert Hall (CPAC), United Methodist Church, Paso Robles Inn, Libretto Jazz Club, and Monarch Club. Music Director since 2005, Scott Yoo, leads ambitious programs that attract listeners from the entire Central Coast and beyond.
