Fetty Wap has carved a distinctive lane in modern hip hop with his melodic, auto-tuned rap and what he calls 'ignorant R&B.' Born William Junior Maxwell II, he rose to fame with a string of hit records that blended catchy hooks with street storytelling. Over the years, Fetty Wap released three studio albums, including the most recent King Zoo (2023) and The Butterfly Effect (2021), both under RGF/300, with Fetty Wap (2015) marking his major-label debut alongside Atlantic. His signature hits such as Trap Queen and 679 helped define a wave in the mid-2010s, while recent tracks and collaborations kept fans engaged through the 2020s.
