About FIAF and Animation First

FIAF (French Institute Alliance Française) curates Animation First in partnership with L’Alliance New York, presenting a curated program that includes a distinguished lineup of seven feature films and five short programs, plus talks, workshops, and VR experiences. The festival opens with The Most Precious of Cargoes, features Savages as a centerpiece, and closes with The Time Masters. The 2025 edition also unveils the 2025 New Francophone Shorts winners during the festival. Visual identity features a limited-edition poster by Georges Schwizgebel.
