FightFest is the UK’s dynamic featherweight robot fighting championship, built on a bold partnership between industry leaders Ed Hodges and Ben Svacha. Born from Labman Automation’s pilot in 2021 and taking the reins in 2024 with Accu and friends, FightFest brings high-energy robotics action to audiences across the country. Our shows run around 2.5 hours, with a short interval, delivering non-stop competition and thrilling clashes between skilled robot teams.

From a 16-team field in 2021 to 27 teams by 2023, FightFest has grown into a premier touring event, with livestreams expanding reach in 2022 and ongoing collaborations with Accu and Extreme Robots TV for production and promotion. Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham has long been the home base (2021–2025), with a 2026 move to the NEC in Birmingham for Smart Manufacturing Week marking the next chapter in our expanding footprint.
