The Flamenco Arts Festival (FAF) brings the passionate worlds of cante (singing), toque (guitar), and baile (dance) to audiences with a mission to make flamenco accessible to communities through performance and education. Founded in 1999 by Vibiana and Alberto Pizano, the inaugural festival took the stage at the Lobero Theatre in 2000, marking the start of a dynamic tradition that blends artistic excellence with community engagement. FAF operates with a steady goal: present powerful flamenco experiences while offering approachable programming for all ages and backgrounds.
