Flamenco Latino is a pioneering performer collective founded in 1979 in New York by jazz guitarist Basilio Georges and flamenco dancer Aurora Reyes. Grounded in the Ida y Vuelta fusion tradition, they fuse traditional flamenco with Afro-Caribbean rhythms and genres such as jazz, blues, salsa, and hip-hop. This unique approach has kept Flamenco Latino at the forefront of boundary-breaking repertory, including the ongoing Más Allá Series that pushes style and storytelling beyond conventional flamenco.
