Since launching in 2012, Flashband has hosted more than 80 showcases and brought together over 3,000 musicians. In 2017, the project joined forces with 7DrumCity, expanding its reach and impact. Directed by Emily Goodman, Flashband blends creativity, collaboration, and high-energy performance, offering fans unforgettable, one-night events in the DC area.

Upcoming Flashband performances include a featured showcase at Pearl Street Warehouse in DC on March 3, 2025, as highlighted by PBS/WETA Arts. The 2000s Remixed Flashband Showcase at The Atlantis in Washington, DC, followed on July 12, 2025, with Legends of LimeWire performing at The Atlantis on July 20, 2025 (a sold-out DC show).
