FloydFest is adynamic, multi-genre performer and festival brand rooted in a rich history of live music. Originally founded in 2002 as Floyd County World Music Festival, FloydFest has evolved into a celebrated destination for diverse sounds, from rock and bluegrass to reggae, folk, and world music. Since relocating to FestivalPark in Check, Virginia in 2022, FloydFest has continued to grow, with the inaugural festival at the new site taking place in 2024 (FloydFest 24~Horizon) and the 2025 edition FloydFest 25~Aurora expanding to seven stages and around 100 artists.
