FM-84 is the synthwave project led by Col Bennett, a self-produced artist crafting cinematic retro-synth soundscapes. With Ollie Wride on lead vocals for the landmark Atlas, FM-84 blends shimmering melodies with nostalgic textures that hit the sweet spot for fans of 80s-inspired electronic music. The project has released influential works like the Los Angeles EP (2015), featuring standout tracks such as Mainframe and Neon Sunrise, and the iconic Atlas (2016) album, which received a 2019 CD reissue on Eigenproduktion / FMCD001. In 2020, Maverick: Atlas B-Sides collected era material, including a long-form take on Running In The Night. In 2025, Ollie Wride released The Pressure Point, expanding his live repertoire and launching The Pressure Point Tour, which brings FM-84 material to audiences worldwide.
