Formula V emerged from Madrid in 1965 as a breezy, Mersey-influenced pop outfit that helped define Spain’s pop sound of the late 60s and early 70s. With catchy melodies, tight harmonies, and a knack for sunny choruses, they became a staple of Spanish radio and television. The group’s hits, including Eva María (1973) and La Fiesta de Blas (1974), turned into summer anthems and climbed to the top of Spanish charts. Over the years, Formula V released a string of studio albums and compilations that showcase their evolution from flower-power echoes to enduring pop staples. Today, Formula V remains active in 2025, bringing nostalgic energy to modern stages while respecting their rich musical legacy.
