Four Stroke Baron is a forward-thinking quartet carving out a distinct space at the intersection of metal, jazz, and experimental rock. Since their self-released debut EP in 2014, the band has released a string of acclaimed records on Prosthetic Records, building a reputation for intricate compositions, precision musicianship, and bold collaborations. Their 2021 release Classics, mixed by Devin Townsend, showcased a moody, expansive sound that drew praise from fans and critics alike. Data Diamond (2024) marked a powerful continuation, featuring the closing title track with Paul Masvidal (Cynic) and Adam Janzi on drums, signaling a strong album cycle with new explorations. The Witch, the lead single from Data Diamond, arrived with a compelling video and confirmed the band’s ongoing momentum. In addition to original material, Monoqueen (2020) gathers covers and re-recordings that broaden their already diverse sonic palette. Planet Silver Screen (2018) included sax contributions by Jørgen Munkeby (Shining) on Video Maniacs, further highlighting the group’s collaborative spirit.
