Frail Body is a compelling force in the modern screamo/hardcore scene, blending ferocious intensity with melodic undercurrents and occasional post-hardcore and melodic black metal textures. Hailing from Rockford, Illinois, the project has built a reputation for immersive live performances and a thoughtful, visceral approach to heavy music. Frail Body’s releases on Deathwish Inc. — including A Brief Memoriam (2019) and Artificial Bouquet (2024) — showcase a trajectory from raw, urgent riffs to more expansive soundscapes. Alongside studio work, the band has issued several live releases on Bandcamp that capture the intensity of their stage presence. As the 2025 European tour approaches — with appearances around Damnation Fest and shows across Lille, Paris, Colmar, Turin, Bologna, Munich, Stuttgart, London, Manchester, and Bristol — Frail Body invites fans to experience their cathartic live experience in venues across Europe.
