FMU’s rich NCAA tournament history stretches back to the 1990s and 2000s, with the current era focused on continued excellence under Coach Jeri Porter, who was named 2025 Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year. Notable players from recent seasons include Kiara Croskey (2025 Freshman of the Year), Trinity Adams (First Team All-Conference), and Kiana Lee (Third Team All-Conference, plus All-Defensive Team honors). The Patriots were East Division co-champions in 2024-25 with a 23-7 overall record and earned an NCAA Tournament bid—the program’s first since 2016.
