Francisco Noya is a distinguished classical conductor known for his lyrical yet precise approach to symphonic and operatic repertoire. With roots in Venezuela’s El Sistema and a career spanning the Americas and Europe, Noya currently serves as Music Director of the Boston Civic Symphony (since 2017) and Resident Conductor of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra. He also shares his passion for music education as conducting faculty at Berklee College of Music, after studying composition and conducting at Boston University.

From his Ravinia Festival debut in 2021 with Ben Folds and the Ravinia Festival Orchestra to leading the Empire State Youth Orchestra on two European tours with Carnegie Hall and Ozawa Hall performances, Noya has built a reputation for energizing orchestral and operatic programs with clarity, warmth, and commitment.
