Biography
Franks and Deans formed in 2013 in the Nevada music scene, spearheaded by Rob DeTie and Michael 'Pip' Ullemeyer. The addition of Jordan 'Hoss' Hoss brought a prominent crooner vocal element, shaping a sound that blends indie rock with retro surf-punk energy. They released their debut album, How Did You All Get In My Room?, in 2015 on SquidHat Records, followed by video releases and press coverage that helped them reach a national audience. Their second album, The Best You’re Gonna Feel All Day, arrived on November 1, 2017, expanding their exploration of Rat Pack-inspired material. The 2019 release, Surfin’ Turf, features 10 tracks and notably includes the single Too Drunk To F@#k. The band has opened for Bad Religion and hosts the Franks & Deans Weenie Roast at the Double Down Saloon in Las Vegas, showcasing their signature blend of humor and high-energy performance. They’ve sold over 1,000 copies on SquidHat Records, a milestone highlighted by label founder Allan Carter.
