Since its inception in 2013, Freakout Fest has grown from Guy Keltner’s psychedelic project The Psychedelic Holiday Freakout into a celebrated Seattle-based festival and artist collective. Rebranded to Freakout Festival around 2017, the brand is run by Freakout Records, an independent label and event collective that has evolved toward non-profit status while continuing to deliver bold, cross-genre performances. The festival is known for its garage, psychedelic, punk, and rock roots, often featuring adventurous cross-genre acts in hip-hop, electronic, and experimental spheres.
