Fred Biletnikoff (born February 23, 1943, in Erie, Pennsylvania) enjoyed a 14-season NFL career with the Oakland Raiders (1965–1978). A standout wide receiver, he tallied 589 receptions for 8,974 yards and 76 touchdowns, earned Super Bowl XI MVP honors, and led the NFL in receptions in 1971. After hanging up his cleats, he contributed as a coach, including a lengthy stint as Raiders wide receivers coach from 1989 to 2006. Though not a professional musician, his legacy spans hall-worthy play, coaching influence, and charitable work through the Biletnikoff Foundation and Biletnikoff Wines.
