Meet Freeway, a foundational figure in East Coast hip-hop whose gritty lyricism and Roc-era production helped shape the sound of early 2000s street rap. Rising to prominence through Roc-A-Fella collaborations and the State Property collective, Freeway released his debut album Philadelphia Freeway in 2003, which climbed to #5 on the Billboard 200. Over the years, he bridged classic Roc sounds with newer collaborations, including Think Free (2018) under the Roc Nation umbrella. In 2025, he remains active with multi-project work, including a collaborative album 365 with Damon Dash & The Black Guns and The Stimulus Package 2 with Jake One. Fans can catch Freeway on select dates of the Cash Money Millionaires 30th Anniversary Tour as a guest in major markets across the U.S.
