Fritz Coleman is a celebrated American comedian, actor, and performer whose career spans television weatherning, stage, and storytelling. Born May 27, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Coleman spent nearly four decades delivering weather forecasts for NBC4 in Los Angeles from 1983 to 2020, earning five Emmy Awards and four Los Angeles-area Emmys for his memorable broadcasting work. His stage career includes two acclaimed one-man theater works, The Reception and It’s Me! Dad!, followed by Tonight at 11! and other intimate productions. Recognized as a Treasure of Los Angeles in 1999 and honored as Humanitarian of the Year by the U.S. House for Red Cross fundraising, Coleman brings warmth, wit, and a life lived in front of audiences to every performance. He continues to tour, bringing stories, humor, and heart to fans across venues in California.
