Gabriel Preisser is a celebrated opera performer, conductor-era vocal artist, and the Executive Director/CEO of Opera Orlando. With a career spanning more than five decades in operatic and musical theater roles, Preisser recently earned a Grammy Award for Best Opera Recording (2020) for Tobias Picker's Fantastic Mr. Fox with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP/sound). He remains an active stage presence, a respected artistic leader, and a versatile concert and theatre performer who brings depth, clarity, and character to every role.

Beyond the stage, Gabriel Preisser is known for his collaborative artistry, educational outreach, and leadership in the opera community. He is based in Florida, with a strong footprint in Central Florida’s cultural scene and ongoing touring across the United States.

Upcoming highlights for 2025 include Alcindoro in La Bohème with Opera Orlando (Oct 3 & 5, 2025) at Steinmetz Hall, Dr. Phillips Center, Orlando. He will also perform Messiah with Villages Philharmonic (Nov 21–22, 2025) at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in Lady Lake, FL, and with the National Chorale at Lincoln Center (Dec 15, 2025) in David Geffen Hall, NYC.
