Gary Geis Dance Company (GGDC) is a premier pre-professional performing company based in Springfield, Ohio. Founded in 1999 by Gary Geis, Mark Cummings, and Lori Weaver-Common, GGDC operates with a first and second company plus apprentices, offering robust training that serves as a springboard to professional careers. The company provides in-studio concerts, main-stage performances at Clark State Performing Arts Center and the John Legend Theater, and participates in community events such as the Summer Arts Festival and school recitals. GGDC dancers pursue rigorous training, participate in master classes, and collaborate with major arts organizations to broaden their performance horizons.

As a trusted bridge between student training and professional pathways, GGDC emphasizes technical excellence, artistic growth, and performance versatility. Dancers have historically worked with renowned companies including Dance Kaleidoscope, Alvin Ailey II, Doug Varone and Dancers, and Rhythmic Circus (Tap), among others. Upcoming highlights for the 2025–2026 season include: December 10 – Holly Days at the Dayton Arcade; December 13–14 – In-Studio Holiday Recitals; March 27–28 – Peter and the Wolf with the Springfield Symphony; and May 30 – Spring Performance.
