Biography
Originating in Almería, Gata emerged in 2018 as a collaborative project led by Diego M. Pecharromán. The ensemble blends New Orleans‑style brass with a global tapestry—funk, flamenco, Latin grooves, rock energy, and electronic textures—creating a sound that’s both as party‑oriented as it is emotionally engaging. A hallmark of their live sets is the integration of beatboxing, which adds an extra layer of rhythm and improvisational flair to every performance.
