Biography
Founded in 2008 by Gregory Wolynec, Gateway Orchestra has grown into a centerpiece of Clarksville’s cultural landscape. The ensemble focuses on inviting audiences into intimate musical experiences, blending traditional chamber works with contemporary commissions. The 2025–26 season elevates that mission with Jacob Aaron Schnitzer as Music Director, bringing a fresh interpretive voice to the stage.
Discography Highlights
Key releases include Wind Serenades (2010) and Chamber Symphonies (2012). The ensemble has explored Vivaldi and contemporary creators alike, with La Pasión según San Marcos appearing on Delos, and most recently La Pasión según San Marcos – Live at 25 (Summit Records, released April 2025). These recordings showcase Gateway Orchestra’s craftsmanship, versatility, and emotional range.
