GEDfest YEG Tickets

GEDfest YEG represents a heartfelt chapter in a nationwide, volunteer-driven musical movement started in Calgary in 2017. Created by Keith Dyck (Founder) and Julie Johnson (Co-Founder), GEDfest honors Gord Downie and The Tragically Hip while raising funds for cancer charities across Western Canada. By 2025, the organization had donated nearly $the best available price to charitable initiatives, underscoring its commitment to community and music with purpose. In 2025, GEDfest expanded to six cities, including Edmonton, where the event took place at Union Hall on October 18, featuring Monks on Call and Blues at 11 as opening acts and Hipnautical as the headlining tribute. GEDfest YEG continues to bring passionate performers together, fostering memorable concerts and meaningful impact.
