The duo then explored a broader single-and-EP approach with State Dogs: Singles 2017-18 (2018) and Reader As Detective (2019). Heatherhead arrived in 2023, featuring singles such as Dirt Diamond and Waking Moment, marking a continued evolution in their sound. Notably, Heza and Alix charted on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, underscoring their growing national presence. Generationals has also contributed to the broader media ecosystem with notable syncs including When They Fight, They Fight for Bloomingdale's (2009) and Exterior-Street-Day for a Reese’s ad (2010).
