We Rock! Chicago, formerly Girls Rock! Chicago, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering girls, TGNC, and gender-expansive youth through leadership, self-esteem, and creative expression in a rock-focused setting. Founded in 2005 with the first camp in August 2006, the program continues under the We Rock! Chicago banner, dedicating itself to youth empowerment through music and social justice. The season culminates with high-energy end-of-camp performances featuring original songs from camper bands.
