GLAS Animation Film Festival is more than an event — it’s a community dedicated to celebrating the art and science of animation. Founded in 2014 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by co-founders Einar Baldvin and Jeanette Bonds, GLAS has grown into a respected platform for international competition, artist retrospectives, and guest programs. The annual festival brings together animators, scholars, and fans to view a broad spectrum of work, from narrative shorts to experimental pieces, with a focus on accessibility and discovery. In 2025, GLAS returned to an in-person format in Los Angeles, with the 8th edition scheduled for December 6–7, 2025, at The London West Hollywood in West Hollywood, CA. This page highlights GLAS’s biography, notable works, grant programs, and upcoming event details to help you secure your seats with ease.
