Good Times Ahead is the collaborative project of Matthew Van Toth (Van Toth) and Julio Mejia (JWLS), known for a boundary-pushing, "Death to Genres" ethos. Since debuting with a self-titled studio album on Warner Bros. Records in 2016, the duo has carved out a distinctive space in the electronic and hip hop scenes with a genre-defying sound that blends house, electro house, hip hop, trap, and dubstep. Formerly known as GTA, they officially rebranded to Good Times Ahead in August 2019, continuing to push inventive productions and high-energy live performances.
