Goya is a Phoenix, Arizona-based doom/sludge powerhouse formed in 2011. The current lineup features Jeffrey Owens on guitar and vocals, Marcus Bryant on drums, and CJ Sholtis on bass. Known for their heavy, fuzz-drenched textures and expansive, long-form compositions, Goya has carved out a distinctive space in the underground heavy music scene. Their work blends hypnotic riffs with concept-driven narratives, creating immersive listening experiences that unfold over extended tracks.

Since their formation, Goya has released four full-length albums and built a dedicated following through relentless touring and a strong presence in the metal community. They’re a band that thrives on atmosphere, tension, and the kind of loud, memorable crescendos that stay with you after the final note fades.

Goya's latest album, In The Dawn Of November, was recorded with renowned producer Jack Endino and released in June 2025 on Blues Funeral Recordings. The title track and several singles have helped push the record into the spotlight of doom and sludge circles. In 2025, the band has announced two tours: an East Coast run with Bronco (June 12–29, 2025) and a fall U.S. tour with In The Company Of Serpents (October 8–25, 2025).
